Ron Julun was initiated into the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi on December 16,
1985. He is currently a member of the Houston Alumni Chapter and is a Life Member with both
Grand Chapter and Southwestern Province for 37 consecutive years.
Ron served as Beta Upsilon Chapter Advisor from 1995-2003, the Southwestern Province as
the Executive Operating Assistant to 22nd Province Polemarch, Southwestern Province Senior
Vice Polemarch, and was appointed the 24th Southwestern Province Polemarch. He served as
the Chief Administrative Officer to the 32nd Grand Polemarch from 2011-2015. Ron served on
the Grand Board of Directors from 2015-2019. He is credited with creating the initial Chapter
Certification Process and Program Documentation Spreadsheet for the Fraternity.
Ron graduated from Texas Southern University with degrees in Mathematics and Computer
Science. He has worked for ConocoPhillips for 35 years as an Application System Engineer.
Ron started the Adopt-A-Family program at Conoco in 1998 which has grown through
partnerships with ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, and the Houston Alumni Chapter. The program
has fed more than 1,750 families in the Houston area during Thanksgiving and Christmas
holidays.
Ron is affiliated with Church-With-Out-Walls Baptist Church. He was elected to Texas Municipal
Utility Board 238 (2018-Current), appointed to Members Choice Credit Union Board (since
1997), and servers as Committee Chairperson for Boy Scout Troop 1865. Ron is married to
Pam (Allen) Julun and have 2 daughters (Darian, Cinae) and 1 son (Joseph).
TRANCEPARENCY: Provide timely notification of key activities, events, and reporting from the Grand Board of Directors and International Headquarters.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Maintain effective records for the fraternity by crafting efficient processes, utilizing innovative ideas, and exploiting technology to enhance Kappa’s services for its chapters and members.
COMMUNICATION: Implement effective multi-way streams of communication between Grand Chapter, International Headquarters, Province, Chapter, and members.
TECHNOLOGY: Implement effective and streamlined systems, processes, and procedures.
